Spring into Spice – Curry and Cabaret Supper Club Launch

‘Back by Popular Demand’ is a phrase that’s often used to describe a great comedian, performer, or entertainer, on their return to a venue, in fact we quite often say it at Fallen Angel, because we rely on customer feedback to let us know about their favourite acts.

‘They were brilliant, when will they be coming back?’ is typical of a question that we hear all the time on the night of an event, on social media, or in general conversation, and of course, we do our very best to book them again.

But, to receive requests for a ‘return performance’ from a chef, is unheard of in our experience.

Such is the brilliance of Mandira, that following a recent event we had dozens of people begging us to arrange another night of spectacular Indian food from Mandira’s Kitchen. Based next door to Silent Pool Distillery, MK has built a reputation for cooking authentic Indian dishes, based on Mandira’s family recipes.

Nigella Lawson, Charlie Boorman, Janey Godley, and Jamie Oliver are all MK devotees, they even have fans in the Royal Household, and recently featured on a Channel 4 programme looking for ‘the next big thing’.

We are delighted to let you know, that starting on May 22nd we have secured a series of Supper Club events, catered by Mandira and her remarkable team of chefs at MK.

‘Back by Popular Demand’, really does mean popular, and it’s a good idea to book your places as quickly as possible, you really don’t want to miss out.

The first night will feature handmade Vegetable Samosas served with Tamarind Chutney, Award winning Chicken or Vegetarian Biryani, crispy Poppadum’s with Tomato & Date Chutney, and Raita.

What sounds like a simple menu will deliver extraordinary tastes, and of course there will be entertainment to go with your Tiffin Boxes of delight!

Tickets cost £40.00 per person, to include Prosecco on arrival, sumptuous 2 course dinner, and live entertainment.

You asked, we listened, come and join us for a night of Indian food that will surprise and delight.

Menu and booking details can be found here, and as always, if you have any questions or specific requirements, please just ask.
